Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Hi, I bumped into a car in a parking lot, and there seemed to be no damage to both cars. I went to look for the owner of the car and when I came back the owner left. I filed a report online with the police, what else should I do?

Probably nothing, but if you have the license plate number of the other car the DMV might give you the owner's name and address so that you can contact them.
