Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

i was wondering if you can file a claim against an insurance for an accident that happened recently.. the other person was at fault.. but my license was recently suspended and didn't know it.. no notice of any kind. was wondering what i could do in this case.

The fact that your license was suspended makes no difference on a claim for personal injuries and damages. You can make a claim for medical bills, loss of earnings, property damage and pain and suffering as long as you had insurance on your car. I agree with the prior response. The issues here are on who was the driver. That was at fault and whether you had liability insurance on your vehicle at the time of this accident. However, the value of your case will also be determined on how badly you were injured and how promptly you sought out treatment Leif there was a delay as you have a duty to mitigate your damages by not delaying it if hou needed treatment to control your losses and thus damages.
