Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Have there been changes to the civil codes in Ca regarding foreclosure laws?

Where can I find the CA civil codes from 2004? I need to see if the laws regarding equity purchasing and forecosure consultant have changed since then. Specificially Civil code section 2945.4 (g) and civil code section 1695.6 (a) in California, if county matters, it would be Santa Cruz county.

Also any information on web sites links where I can research Calif cases or case law.

Thank you for any information!

Here's what the annotated code says: "2004 Legislation

"Stats.2004, c. 177 (S.B.1277), in subd. (a), inserted "that" and inserted "or she"; in subd. (c), substituted "That" for "Any such"; in subd. (d), substituted "that" for "such"; in subd. (e), substituted "does" for "shall" in the third sentence, and substituted "may" for "shall" in the fourth sentence; and added subd. (h).

"For reimbursement provisions relating to Stats.2004, c. 177 (S.B.1277), see Historical and Statutory Notes under Civil Code 2924b.

"1993 Main Volume

"The 1980 amendment substituted "voidable" for "voided" in the second sentence of subd. (e) and at the end of the sentence added "of a violation of this article," and added the third and fourth sentences of subd. (e)."
