Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

How do evictions work and how do you represent yourself fairly if you feel you h

Filed an answer to Unlawful Detainer and am curious as to how long before actual eviction will transpire?

Also home has been for sale and feel my right to privacy has been invaded by the number of people who freely walk into my home unannounced. Is there anything I can do in reference to this? I have been bathing before or another example is children here and with adults we do not even know even after them telling the individuals I was not at home.

Lastly, my most recent written notice from property management firm states as of 7/18/00 I have made late payments and they will no longer accept as of August 1st. Then it proceeds to say all rents must be paid by the 15th or they will start eviction, yet as of 8-9 they filed the papers? Do I have recourse here?

The large number of people entering the premises unannounced and at times which interfered with your quiet and peaceful enjoyment of the property, reduced the rental value of the property. Thus you may not have been behind in your rent payment.

contact a local attorney regarding your case. The local bar association may have a referal program. These programs usually have a low fee for the initial consulation.
