Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Is this False Advertising

If the marketing material for a house being sold says ''wood blinds on windows,'' but there are only wood blinds on 5 of the 18 windows (basically all the downstairs windows only), is that considered false advertising?

Does the buyer have grounds for taking the seller to court (to sue for the additional wood blinds)?

Re: Is this False Advertising

No, this is not false advertising. If it said wood blinds on all windows, it might be, especially if there were blinds on the windows that looked like they were wood, but were not.

If there were no blinds on windows, or blinds that would obviously not be wood blinds, you can't say that you were deceived. You looked at the home, I assume.
