California law does allow some limited redemption rights after an HOA foreclosure. The law containing the redemption right is Civil Code section 1367.4, and while you or your lawyer should review the entire section, I believe the key provision is in subsection (c)(4). You probably have 90 days after a foreclosure sale to redeem -- but read all of 1367.4 and perhaps preceding sections 1366 onward as well, and get further legal assistance with anything you don't understand. Note the effective dates of the various sections.
