Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Homeless w/2 daughters on the 16th

I really need some legal assistance in regards to being evicted. I have to be out by the 16th, and have no where to go. I recieved the eviction notice due to my boyfriend being arrested in my house. He was arrested for under the influence, there were no narcotics, or paraphanellia found at the time of his arrest, and he used the drugs the night before. But for some reason I am being evicted because of this. It doesn't make sense when for 1 we are not married(he is the father of my daughter) 2: he doesn't live w/us(he's not on the lease) and 3: I had no knowdledge of him using, if I did I would not have let him visit our daughter. But I am still being held responsible by the public housing authority of the city of ventura. Can someone please offer their assistance. Thanks Crystal
