Land issue

if the U.S.F.S owns the road the road that passes through my private property, who is responsible for maintanence and who is liable for it, us or the U.S.F.S. ?

My first instinct without looking at the facts is to say they are, but if they are not doing what you want, you should have an attorney represent you rather than arguing with them alone.
