I live in one small room in a boarding house, can the landlord chance this room to be use for non-profit organization only and receive a tax brake for it?

I'd have to say "probably." Without knowing all the details such as rent control limitations which could affect evicting you, or the legitimacy of the nonprofit and the donation of the room to its use, I couldn't be certain, but looks like something a landlord could do, in general.
