Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

I have lost my condo due to foreclosure and have outstanding HOA dues. Do the outstanding dues go to the new owner or am I personally responsible to pay them?

I would think you should pay them personally, to the HOA, and obtain a receipt.

You are personally liable for them, although they may be a lien on the property as well depending on if and when they perfected a HOA dues line relative to the date of the loan that was the subject of the foreclosure.
