Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

property and easements

I have and utility easement on my property, it is my understanding that this only give the holder of the easement the right to clean and maintain not tell me what i can or can not due with my property as long as i do not dirupt the access. please verify what a utility easment is and if this is correct.

An easement is used to allow access to your property by the holder of the easement. Generally an easement granted to a utility allows the utility to access your property to service and maintain whatever systems it owns on or around your property. To determine precisely what the holder of the eaement can and cannot require, you need to review the deed or other document that created the easement.
