Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Quick Deed forms for putting name on title

Where can I have a quick deed done for having my name put on the titile of my brothers home? Can I do this myself or is it better to have someone do this for us?

Your brother will have to sign it and have it notarized, not you. There might be negative tax consequences if your name is added. You should discuss this with an attorney in your area.

legal execution of a grant deed would be needed to effectuate your intent here. You may be able to search for the forms and procedure yourself, however, it is highly recommended to have attorney assistance in ANY legal matter, in order to avoid unforeseen pitfalls and to best protect your rights. For timely, affordable assistance here, contact us today for a free phone consultation.
