rental law

30 day notice after asking for permit on roof repair and saying that I would call code enforcment to make sure roof was done right if I have to get renters ins.

I find your facts a bit too terse to really grasp what's going on here, but it kinda looks like you may have a case for retaliatory eviction. My suggestion would be to re-ask your question under the more specific LawGuru heading "Landlord-Tenant" or whatever we call it, and instead of trying to cram all the facts and data into one sentence, give us a full paragraph.
