rental
what happens if tenant collects rent from another unauthorized person in the house and pays no rent period to landlord?

Most likely, both will get evicted. Maybe the unauthorized person has a claim against the tenant for not passing the money along to the landlord, but if the unauthorized person paid for, say, four months lodgings and got four months lodgings, I'd say the suit wouldn't go far.

Both tenants get evicted by the landlord for non-payment of rent.
