Selling of House

I would like some information re:Convicts and the right they have to keep a home left to sisters and himself. He's incarcerated in Texas, Grandmother just passed away, left house to all 3, he does not want to sell, sister's say he can't do anything because he's in Federal Penitentury. Can you help?

Re: Selling of House

Any of you can file an action in the county where the property is located to "partition" the real estate. Normally, the court will order the property sold and you will each receive a share of the price.
