Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

I sued in small claims court and won a judgement against a Contractor that performed substandard work on my home for $9,525. Now I received a the letter the court that says that the small claims case has been appealed to the superior court. Does that mean I need an attorney or should I just show up as I did earlier. What are the chances they win, do I have to present my case all over again? Thank you.

Take a look at http://limitedscopecounsel.com/small-claims/ You should NOT just show up. If you do not use an attorney, you will be taking some risk; you should at least consult with an attorney to decide whether or not you will go it alone, and get advice on how to present your case (and defeat any defenses the other side may present).
