Legal Question in Social Security Law in California

SSA recipient with a lil' bit o' cash

I receive under $500 per month in Social Security money which is considered a pension and per being sued, effectively makes one, as I understand it, judgement-proof. If, however, I was sued and a plaintiff discovered assets, e. g., a savings account, could s/he collect any of this money?? (Am not being sued, just tend to worry about money.) Thank you.
