Legal Question in Tax Law in California

Notice to file overdue tax returns

I did not file my state or federal taxes for 2001 and 2002.

In 2001,I worked from February through August and averaged

about 10 hours/week.I worked January through December in 2002 and had a weekly average of 28 hours. Both employers withheld all appropriate taxes. I've received 2 letters from the IRS. They say that my tax returns are overdue because they have not received a 1040 form from me.

I can't find my 1040 forms or anything from those two years. What should I send to them?
