I was given wrong advice by my CPA. What kind of attorney should I approach?

Most attorneys would advise you to contact an attorney who specializes in tax - accounting issues. Some of these attorneys are also CPA's, so that's another qualification to look for. You should be able to find an attorney - CPA in your area.
