Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
While driving my boss's car, on loan to me as a work vehicle, I was stopped and ticketed for expired registration, which I was not aware of. Is it an acceptable defense for me to show that it's not my car and not my fault, or do I have to swallow the ticket even though I'm not responsible for the expired registration?

It's anybody's guess. If the judge doesn't let you off, I would put the fine on my expense report.
