What is the statute of limitations on

a Ca probate with no will.

I am not certain that there is a statute of limitations as probate is to allow title to pass to heirs from one who is deceased and thus cannot hold property. What is the issue is the estate worth over $ 100K excluding insurance policies? If so probate is not needed. Contact me direclty.
