Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

In California, my parent owns a mobile home with no mortgage. Rent is paid for the location of the mobile home so the mobile home is not real estate. Current worth is $160,000. Parent also has a savings account with $30,000. No other assets. Is a Living Trust required in order to split assets among her 4 children upon her death for this small of an estate.

A living trust is never required. It's often a good idea, but never a requirement.

Good luck.
