Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

My dad died. His mom had a trust with a bank account and property which I am names in. Now my step mom is trying to petition the court to get appointed as administrator and to transfer the money from the trust into the estate. She is not names in the trust. Should I contest the appoinment?
