Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

estates willed to someone else

I need to know what i can do. I have lived with my grandmother my whole life and she recently passed away. She told me i can stay in her house for as long as i needed. Her house is willed to her the kids. She knew that when she passed away they would sell it asap leaving me without a place to go or live so she wanted to include me in her trust but her kids gave her problems about changing it and she didnt have the money she needed to change it. her 3 kids my dad aunt and uncle all knew what she wanted for me...Anyways it was never put into writing and I just got a 30 day notoice to vacate the property beacasue they are selling the house...I was going to fight the eviction and stay there for as long as possible to save money to go somewhere or stay some where but i cant even do that becasue the house is already in escrow..so i need to know what i can do.

Re: estates willed to someone else

Nothing. You can defend the eviction and ask the judge for a little more time, but it will be conditioned, if your request is granted, upon your payment of the rental value of the permises.
