Yes. For most estates the fee is fixed according to the Cal. Probate Code which you can look up at www.leginfo.ca.gov .

An executor is entitled to be paid unless the will stipulates to the contrary and the will is proved up and binds the executor. Executor's fees, like legal fees, in a probate proceeding are standardized.
