Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

My Grandfather Died August of 2009. he left my sister and I about 50k each with the remaining to go to both of his children to split. The estate attorney / trustee will not call me back until I send a certified letter. Then he calls. he said that it is delayed because he has to sell the houses and my mom and her brother have lawyers preventing the sell of either of the houses. My mom lives in one house and my uncle in another house. I have no relationship with my mother since she split and refuses to talk to anyone. I would like to pay off my student loans and the collection agencys for my dept due to me being layed off. This would help me have everything paid off with out $100 dollars left for me. Is there a time limit in california for the lawyer/trustee to give me the funds? Do I have any recourse? I don't have any money so I cannot afford a lawyer and I need every dime so I can payoff what I owe. Please help?

It is unclear from your post, but if there is no money in the trust until the properties are sold and your mother and uncle are preventing the sale of the properties, there is not much you can do, other than hiring your own attorney. Seeking free advice online will not likely solve your problem.
