Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
my grandmother passed in April 2011. Her estate was less than $100k and the process of notifiying all family members of the amounts that each will receive and all other requireed steps have been completed.
How long does the responsible parties have legally to distribute the funds to the family memebers?

Generally it is a "reasonable" time and not one of definite span. There can be factors that make it more difficult to wind up one estate versus another.
