Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Who is legally entitled to settle an estate: Conservator of Deceased/Trustee as listed in the Living Trust/Executor as listed in the Will

If it is fact, that a conservatorship ends when conservatee dies, then is it reasonable to assume that whomever is listed in the living trust and/or will of the deceased conservatee as Trustee and/or Executor, will settle the estate.

Yes, the trustee or executor will have authority with regard to the estate of the deceased conservatee. However, the conservator will need to be formally end the conservatorship in a probate proceeding in superior court and distribute the remaining assets to the trustee or executor as provided by the will or trust agreement.
