Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Is my moms will still valid since she moved from Ks. to Ca.

My mom, a single woman, moved from Kansas where she had her will executed in 1999, to Caliifornia does she now need a new will since she moved?

Possibly, it depends on both A) how the will was written and B) the size of your Mother's estate.

Most likely the will she wrote in Kansas will be valid here, but since I am not an expert on Kansas law, I cannot confirm that.

I can tell you that if you Mother's estate is above 100,000, her estate will most likely have to go to probate (with or without a valid will). The best way to avoid this is to set up a revocable living trust, something almost all estate planning attorney's can help you with.
