my mothers estste

my sister was named executor of my mothers estate.

Is she(sister) required to submit a complete accounting of the estate to the beneficiaries,and how long should this take.

my mother died over4 months ago and I have no information regarding not only the accounting but the state of the will at this point.

Yes, she will be required to provide an accounting.

Your sister is the executor and she will need to file a petition to probate your mother's will. This should be done soon. A copy of the will should be attached, and you will receive notice of the proceeding.

If your sister does not do what she should do as executor, you have legal rights which can be enforced.
