Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Power of Attorney

I purchased your power of attorney form for California (order #8068) .The ''Instructions'' state ''...remains effective...until Grantor becomes disabled...'' but the ''Warning'' states ''...power of attorney will continue to exist even if you can no longer make your own decisions...''. Are these two statements contradictory?
