Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

I represent a financial institution and a trustee give me a death certificate and a copy of a will creating a testamentary trust with all signatures of both trustor and trustee (no county record of course) and the wax seal of a notary public, is there still any risk which a creditor or a heir prosecutes me cause i have transfered funds to the trustee ? Thank U
