I can only assume this means son was living with grandfather....

This really is more of a landlord and tenant issue, but I can see why you would ask it in this forum.

The reason this is a LL/Tenant issue is because if the grandson can prove (letter or bill received via US Mail) that the address was his home address, then whomever evicted him has to follow the standard 30 day notice rules.

Because you did not provide enough information regarding the property itself, rental unit, owned, senior community, the answer may still vary.
