Can stepmother change my deceased father's will?
When my father died some time ago my three siblings and I were named as heirs along with my stepmother's sister and her neice and nephew. They had no children. She has since
distanced herself from us. Can she change my father's will
with her own or must she honor his?

She can't change his will because he has already died. But, if you are concerned about receiving what you are entitled to receive as a beneficiary, I would suggest that you call me ASAP before you lose whatever rights you may have. My number in Albuquerque is 888-4409. No charge for the call.

If your father is already dead, she can't change his will. However, there are other instruments (such as a trust) that she might be able to change after his death. Also, if he left everything first to her, the assets would be determined by her will not his.
