The intent of the settlor to manifest a trust is essential to the existence of an express trust. It can be manifested by written or spoken words or by conduct. Problems occur, however, when the statute of frauds or statute of wills requires the intention to be in writing. There is no particular form of language.

I strongly urge you to consult with an experienced estate planning attorney. There are currently several software do it yourself kits floating around, that do not properly prepare a trust. This can create problems further down the road, which can be costly.
