wills and inheiritence

i have a friend that is named in her fathers will where there is property involved , she is mentally disabled and doesn't understand it is there anyone that can help her?

a petition for probate should be filed by the executor named in the will, or some other interested person. your friend's conservator or lds conservator should retain an attorney to protect her interests in the estate (and file the petition on her behalf as needed).

If her father has passed away, and there is only a will as you state, then a Probate will need to be started. Once this occurs, the COurt will recognize the situation and appoint a guardian/executor over the estate.
