Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Job Injury But Employer Has Me On SDI

I was relieved of duty by my employer pending medical investigation of celluitus. When 2 of my doctors stated that I am fit for duty, the employer requested that I see another doctor of their choice but it was not for the investigated matter. I am currently on SDI and have been for 6 months. Knowing I should very well be on workman comp. instead, since this investigated illness was from an on-the-job injury, can you recommend a lawyer? Also, is there any documented statements in regards to this matter?

You need to be examined by either AME (Agreed Medical Examiner) or a Panel Qualified Medical Examiner for a neutral opinion. If you have an admitted claim, insurance company has to pay you temporary disability. Call us at 213.388.7070 for a free consultation.
