Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

I was severely harassed and discriminated by my employer that I tried to commit suicide,I asked for help from my employer to see a doctor,many times but instead of helping me they sent the police to take me out, a week and a half after I ended in the mental hospital,got really sick,I contacted an attorney but he did nothing to help me,the claim that was open got closed because this attorney never sent any doctor reports,I dismissed this attorney and got a new one,this new attorney has sent me to the doctors and I am getting medication, and therapy,doctors say I will need it for a long time,my employer is treating my involuntary leave as FMLA,but is not FMLA wc has been filed and have gone to 2 depositions,doi is 1/13/10. can they fire me for being under doctor care for this all time? I would like to go back to work but I am afraid,I tipe of compensation should I ask for?

Depends on what you considered "harassed" and discriminated. They can fire you but will it be wrongful determination depends on the nature of your claim and disability.
