Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Need help with workers com.

I got injured the last day of the season,the supervisor wasn't there at first I though it wasn't important, but 2 days later my pain was getting worst. I tried contact to the company but it was weekend so I went to visit me family, there I got really sick and went with a doctor, he told me that I got a crack pelvis.Next day a call my company and told them about the problem. After a got better I went back to the company but now they don't want help me because they said that according to their rules I had to tell them soon. They never told me about these rules. And I need medical help. Can somebody help me with my problem?

Your employer is wrong about their liability and their response to you is of course likely in the hopes of getting you to simply walk away. Here is the reality of the law: when an employee reports a job injury the employer is required to provide a claim form to the employee and notify their carrier. The employer does not have the right to "decide" whether the injury is compensable or not.

If you haven't already..go get an attorney and make sure that your rights are protected. What you do now could have a big impact on your future so take the road that protects you from making a mistake now at the expense of your future.
