fleeing a scene of a crime what charge is it in the criminal code?

I am not sure what you mean, as leaving the scene of a crime is not a distinct offence. Of course, committing the crime that a person is fleeing from is sufficient to get that person charged.

Perhaps you are thinking of leaving the scene of an accident, a car accident. The accident by itself does not have to be a crime.
