This question has been directed to a BC law firm and must be answered with reference to British Columbia law. The law varies from Province to Province. We presume that since you directd the questin to a BC law firm, that your sister died in BC and the will is to be probated in BC. In British Columbia, under the Estate Administration Act and/or the Wills variation Act, anyone who is entitled to challenge the will must be sent a copy of it; whether or not you are entitled is to some extent dependant on whether or not she had a spouse or children, whether or not your parents are still living, if you are mentioned in the will, if you are or were to some extent dependant on her, and in your parents' wills whether or not there was a reversionary interest involving you and your sister. Tese are just some of the factors that should be looked at. You should consult a lawyer familiar with BC estate law for a complete opinion.
