Legal Question in Technology Law in Colorado

pictures

ill make it as easy as i can.

someone posted multiple pictures of me on their business website. i have the negatives to both pictures. i contacted them and asked them to remove it. they will not.

this usiness owner and my family were invloved in legal equine issues in 2000. bottom line. i want my pictures off of her site.

the pictures were not professionally taken - Also- is there a law that will make them black out my face in the pictures?

i do not want to be affiliated with them at all. i realize that i cannot force them to remove them. where can i go from here?

thank you

Re: pictures

Whether or not this business owner can post the pictures on the business Web site may depend upon who took the pictures. The person who is posting the pictures may be infringing upon the owner's copyright if the business derives a profit from use of those pictures.

This is actually an intelletual property question and you may want to speak to an attorney about the owner's rights under those laws.
