Legal Question in Technology Law in Colorado

Posting photos on the internet without my permission.

An ex-boyfriend has some sexual pictures that he had taken in the past. He is now threatening to post them on the internet. Can he legally do that without my permission. If not what can I do to stop him. And if he does post them what legal action can I take against him?

Re: Posting photos on the internet without my permission.

If you were of legal age at the time and posed willingly for him, there is probably little you can do legally.

If, however, you think he is serious, consult a trial lawyer in your town and see if he will write the ex boyfriend a letter threatening him with a lawsuit for the intentional infliction of emotional distress if he publishes your photos on the net or otherwise.

Good luck, and be careful who you pose for in the future.
