Legal Question in Family Law in Colorado

Is there an age in the state of Colorado where a child can choose which parent h

Everyone, except my attorney, who hasn't called me back, is telling me the age is 14, however, I cannot find that statute in the statutes listed on the Colorado State web site. Please help. It is an urgent matter.

You can't find it because it isn't there.

A child has a right to decide where s/he will live when s/he attains the age of majority, not before.

At age 14 a judge will take a child's wishes into consideration, and they will be most important in a close case, but the judge still determines what is in the child's best interests and may or may not agree with the child.

There is no absolute legal right for a 14 year old to decide where s/he will live.
