Legal Question in Immigration Law in Colorado

Hi,

I am Swapnil. I am currently working on OPT Extension at client side in Denver,CO. My EAD (OPT Extension) card is valid till November 2016. My employer is in California and it is E-Verified. I am going to India for some medical treatment in the month of November 2015 and will be back on December 1st 2015(20 days). I will be carrying my Passport, VISA(Valid through May 2017), Recent signed I-20, Employer offer letter, Pay-stubs while travelling.

I am just worried little bit because I heard that recently the Federal Court has made the decision to revoke or put a stay on OPT Extension policy which was made by DHS in 2008 and the new rule making by DHS is in process.

Is it safe to travel in this period and will there be any problem for me at the port of entry(Seattle, WA)?

Any kind of help/suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,

-Swapnil
