We caution all potential clients that legal malpractice claims are only as strong as the underlying case. Those cases which have the best chance for a good outcome for the plaintiff are those where a clear act of negligence, or omission of appropriate representation, are clearly apparent in the legal record.

Look for a lawyer with expereince in legal malpractice claims. Your new lawyer will need to review your records from the earlier matter to determine whether you have a strong claim. If you would call our office during business hours, and speak to one of our attorneys, we can answer your questions and discuss how to move forward.

There is a two year statute of limitations in Colorado for filing a legal malpractice claim, you must file within two years of the act of negligence or lose your right to do so. Other time limitations may apply.
