I'm doing research for a novel, and one of my characters is coming into an inheritance. Is there currently a state or federal tax on estate inheritances in Colorado?

There is federal estate tax in Colorado on estates in excess of $3.5 million. There is no separate Colorado estate or inheritance tax at all.
