Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Colorado

A question about a will from my mother

I have recieved 2 cemetary lots from a will that my brothers and sisters have agreed for me to have at the time and now yrs later they want to sell them, I have all of the paper work for the lots my parents bought a long time ago and I want to transfer these lots to Colorado Springs where I live now and the lots are in michigan, my brother and sister are greedy and want to sell them, there mine as agreed on when we were spliting up the assets of hers, I let my younger brother take over the estate issues and responsibilies I didn't want nothing but the lots so they agreed to that I get the lots so they gave me the Documents and lot imformation and my sister got the Van of hers and My brother got to sell the estate, so I was just wanting the lots and now they want to sell the lots, I want them still and want to transfer them to Colorado so I can use them for me and my wife, when we pass on. So do I have anyway I can avoid this or go into a small claims court to settle this.

Re: A question about a will from my mother

There are time deadlines involving any estate administration. Without knowing the deadlines involving the estate in question, it is not possible to answer your question with any accuracy.

You would be well advised to seek the guidance of an attorney in your area experienced with estates and estate disputes.
