Breach of Contract
Gave a investment counsellor money to invest and he left the state with the money, what legal avenues do I have.

Talk to a lawyer. You may want to consider filing criminal charges, but I do not know what the amount of money is, so I can't be helpful in that regard. You may want to consider suing him, but I need to know more about whether you'd be successful in satisfying a judgment, and also whether the amount of money makes suing him feasible.
