Legal Question in Criminal Law in Connecticut

lanlord pressing charges

I rented--name removed--condo form--name removed--co woker in ct. I was--name removed--3 bedroom. We agreed that I can find to other roomates to help with the rent. The lanlord had all of his stuff in every room but my room. I asked and asked for him to come and get the items so I have room for roomates. 6 months later when the rent was to much for me I started to sell the items in the condo. He said that I can have everything and he wasnt comming to get it. Then he diceded when I told him I was moving out to call the police and have--name removed--larceny charge brought up agenst me. Now it is 2 years later I havent answered to warrent. I have never been in touble with the law. Isnt posetion 9/10th of mthe law? What should I do? And how valid is his claim. I live in new york now.

Re: lanlord pressing charges

If there is a warrant out for your arrest, then you have some issues to deal with. I would need to know the terms of the agreement and other information before I could give a specific answer. However, this is not something you can simply ignore and hope it disappears.
